Dr. Janet Wolery has practiced dentistry for over 25 years. She was raised in northwest Ohio in Delphos and graduated from Delphos Jefferson High School in 1977. She went on to get her undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University – a BS in Genetics. She received her DMD dental degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1984.
She has worked in both private practice and in public health. She has been on missions in Africa and the Caribbean. Dr. Wolery is a member of the American Dental Association, The Ohio Dental Association, and the Central Ohio Dental Society.
She lives in Delaware, Ohio, and is married to Bruce Carder, an engineer with Turner Construction. They have two dogs. Romulus is a mixed breed and Scooter is a Golden Retriever. They also have three tortoises named Big Guy, Little Guy, and Cosmo. Dr. Wolery loves to read and do Sudoku puzzles. She is also a glass artist working out of Glass Axis in Columbus making paperweights and other art objects. Her work is in museums in the United States and Europe. She enjoys combining her artistic skills with dentistry.
